Habitat Design

Wondering what to do with your expiring CRP?

Ask us about the better paying CRP programs for your property in 2010!

HCS starts the process of designing wildlife habitat by listening to the landowner’s specific goals. HCS then combines those goals with our intimate knowledge of conservation programs, wildlife needs, soil types, along with lay of the land and the surrounding properties to design an effective plan to create, improve, or expand wildlife habitat on the property.

HCS appreciates the cost that can go into meeting goals and objectives, that is why we are very resourceful at selecting land use options that increase income and provide excellent cost share support for projects. Using this approach we can often put more wildlife habitat on the ground with reduced expense for the landowner.

Benefits of Design by HCS include:

  • Attract and hold more wildlife on your property
  • Increase income potential, farm efficiency, aesthetics and equity
  • Increase the diversity of habitat on your property
  • Improve hunting opportunities
  • Improve water quality, decrease erosion
